Google Phone app Call recording starts to roll out internationally to qualified pixels

Appeal recording for the Google Phone app has been reported to have slowed, but now it is being implemented on qualifying pixel smartphones worldwide.

Call recordings have been accessible for quite some time on other devices, but legal limitations may prevent you from accessing the feature on your devices in some locations. Other devices have seen the rolled out functionality with Google Phone's past upgrades, but you should soon have access to the in-app option if you own a Pixel and reside in an area where the call recording is legal.

The option is accessible on his Pixel 4a cellphone in India, Twitter user Jay Prakash has shown. When activated, an extra "Record" button, which is available once the call has been connected, will appear in the standard call panel. Just launch Google Phone app > Settings > Call recording, to enable or verify whether you have the functionality on your smartphone.

The drawback is that even if you have Google Phone beta or stable construction in place, you may not be allowed to record telephone calls in your country/region unless you have been given previous notice. In this context, it is not accessible here in the UK as it has tried to verify whether the feature is active on many of my own Pixel devices. Also, in France, our Dylan Roussel can't use its Pixel function

If the call recording option is used, you may automatically erase all stored audio within 7, 14 or 30 days under Google Phone settings. You may also set files that will remain preserved for manual deletion.
Make sure you let us know that Google Pixel, or otherwise, in the comments area below, is the option on your smartphone...
